About Miss Melanie

Miss Melanie’s love for dance began at just three years old when she started recreational dance. At the age of eight, she took her passion to the competitive level and continued to grow her training in a variety of styles. She began with ballet and jazz before expanding her training to lyrical, tap, hip hop, and contemporary.

Miss Melanie is currently Muv Method Stretch Solution Level 1 certified and has always had a passion for teaching, creativity, and working with children. After having the opportunity to assist with multiple dance classes, she discovered just how much she loved helping young dancers learn, grow, and build confidence.

Miss Melanie is currently studying at Brock University in the Child and Youth Studies program where she hopes to continue developing her knowledge and passion for working with children.

As a teacher, Miss Melanie strives to create a positive, welcoming, and encouraging environment where every dancer feels comfortable being themselves. She hopes to inspire her students to discover their own love for dance, feel confident in their abilities, and most importantly, have fun while learning!
