About Miss Izzy

Miss Izzy started dancing at the young age of 3, following in her two older sisters footsteps.  She trained recreationally in ballet, jazz and tap and joined the competitive team at the age of 8. Izzy then competed in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. She has won many top awards in all disciplines and received special awards and overall top placements for her tap solos for many years.

Izzy has worked with top choreographers including Mark Samuels, Julianna Kelly, Cora Kozaris, Brodie Masse, and Rebecca Zizek. After graduating from high school, Izzy has continued to compete at the varsity level as a member of the top ranked Brock Badgers competitive dance team for the past three years.

Izzy has a natural love for teaching and is currently studying at Brock University to become an elementary teacher.  She is enrolled in the Concurrent Education program, including a BA in Child & Youth Studies. During summer breaks, she also continues supporting her love of children by working at Willowbrae Academy in Burlington. 

Miss Izzy is excited to join the In Bloom team and can’t wait for an exciting year ahead.
